Vega Tubaphone

This neck was completed in April of 2005. It is a 25.5" scale neck built for an 11 3/4" Vega Tubaphone pot. I copied the dimensions of this neck from an original Vega Whyte Laydie # 7. The finish color was applied in multiple color washes starting with bright orange, then red and finally a deep brown. The top coat is Nitrocellulose lacquer with a slight amber tint.
