The FT-1

I built this flattop guitar with Ivon Schmuckler in 1998. The body shape is copied from a 1960's Gibson LGO while the bracing is based on Martins' 000 sized guitars from the 1930's. This guitar has a full and clear sound all around. It has plenty of volume and punch with more clarity on the bottom end than a typical Dreadnought guitar.

The top of this guitar is Engleman spruce, the back and sides are Indian Rosewood from a sustainable harvest source, and the neck is mahogany.
